What this site collects, why, and how to opt out. In short: we learn which organizations visit and what they read, we recognize a returning browser with one first-party cookie, we never store your IP address, and we do not identify you as a person.
Who we are
AIS, AI Implementation Specialists, the implementation arm of the 50 Family of Brands, based in Dayton, OH and Indiana, PA. Questions about this page go to aaron@aiimplementationspecialists.com.
When you fill out a form
A form on this site sends what you type into it: your name, work email, phone, company website, position and your answers. We also record the page you sent it from, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and your browser’s user agent.
We use it to reply to you and to prepare for a conversation with you. We keep it while we have a working relationship, or until you ask us to delete it.
When you visit a page
Each page view sends us the page address, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link, your browser’s language and time zone, and your screen size. When you leave the page we receive how long it was on screen and how far down you scrolled. From your browser’s user agent we note the device type, browser and operating system.
On our server, your IP address is used to look up two things: your approximate location, to the city, and the organization that address is registered to. On a company network that is usually the company’s name and web domain. On home or mobile internet it is the internet provider. The organization lookup is done by ipapi.is. We do not store your IP address.
The one cookie we set
On your first page view our server sets one first-party cookie, ais_vid. It holds a random code, nothing about you, and lasts 13 months from your latest visit. It lets us tell that page views on different days came from the same browser. Because of it, if your browser was once seen on a company’s network, later visits from the same browser on home or mobile internet are counted toward that company. It is not shared with anyone, and our scripts cannot read it.
What we read about visiting companies
The first time a company’s network visits, we read that company’s own public homepage, once, and keep what it says publicly about itself: its name, description, logo, its social media pages, any public phone, email or address it lists, and the web software the site uses. We honor robots.txt when we do this. It is information about the organization, not about you.
For a business that visits, we may also look up a few people in senior roles at that company, such as its owners and operations leaders, with their business email address and LinkedIn profile, through MoltSets and, where it has too little, Hunter, which we reach through Treg. These are business contact data providers. These are people who work at the company, not a record of who visited. We cannot tell which person, if any of them, was the visitor.
We use all of this to understand which organizations are interested in our work and what they read, and we may contact a business that has visited. We never identify which person visited, and we do not combine your visit with other data to try. Visit records are deleted after 12 months.
Analytics
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without storing IP addresses.
Your choices
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, no page view record is sent and the cookie is never set. You can also clear the cookie in your browser at any time, or email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
Who handles it for us

- Neon stores form submissions and page view records.
- Resend delivers our internal email notifications.
- ipapi.is performs the IP address to organization lookup.
- MoltSets and Hunter provide business contact details for people in senior roles at companies that visit. Treg carries our requests to Hunter.
